Michael Adams, CA (Partner)

Mike is a Chartered Accountant and has been in public practice since 1997. He is involved in all areas of client service including accounting, audit, corporate and personal taxation and business consultation. Mike enjoys working closely with owner managers to minimize tax and improve profitability.

Mike was born and raised in Creston, B.C. After working on his family's dairy farm, he attended the College of the Rockies and obtained a Business Administration Diploma in accounting. He joined Taylor Adams in December 1997, acquired his CA designation in 2002 and became a partner in January 2003.

Mike is active in the community. He is a member of JCI Kootenay, and a board member for both the Cranbrook Society for Community Living and the Cranbrook and District Chamber of Commerce. In the past he has also volunteered his time as the treasurer for the Cranbrook Youth Soccer Association, an official for the Kootenay Ice and was a member of the Kinsmen Club of Cranbrook.
